Spray with warm water and vinegar equal parts let set a few minutes and scrape off. Don't gouge the wall with the scrapper. Best to work a small area at a time. Good luck.
After scraping off the top layer, mix equal parts hot water and liquid fabric softener and wipe liberally on the remaining paper with an old t-shirt or sponge. Let sit 10 minutes, then peel off. Like magic!
