How can I unclog my garbage disposal?
I tried vinegar and baking soda. I even did this by leaving it all night long and then the next day adding hot water.
I also have used the plunger and hot water.
The garbage disposal work but then it clogs up again and the water takes a long time to go down the drain. How do I clean the disposal and unclog it?

My moms garbage disposal clogs up a lot because the pipes were put together wrong. Take the pipes apart and see if maybe you may have a partially plugged pipe from something that may have gotten stuck. Don't leave baking soda in the drain, it can get pasty and dry kind of hard, that is why it should be rinsed down with boiling water after it is done fizzing.
I buy plink lemon from Amazon it is great
I had the same problem.... I added Dawn and HOT water to the same mixture... Let it sit, plunged a bit, and down it went! Good luck!
There are drain cleaners safe for garbage cleaners, sorry I don't have the names. I saw them after the event and didn't buy.
I would say try the baking soda and vinegar again, keeping in mind what Nancy said. When I clean out my sink I use a LOT of hot water down my pipes. Not every time, but in this case, I would suggest filling your sink with extremely hot water, then have a couple of large pots of water boiling on the stove. After the fizzing stops, use a rubber glove or tongs to grab the drain cover and remove it. Let the sink full of hot water go down the drain. While that is happening, get your boiling water ready and send that next. You want the power of the running of the hot water, not just the hot water, (I hope that makes sense to you). See if that helps. If not, look for a clean-out in your pipes. If you don't have one and have to call a plumber to fix this, have him/her install a cleanout for the future. I would also recommend flushing your drain pipes regularly with a preventive dose of baking soda, vinegar and HOT water.
Do you know what it's clogged with? Like if you put a ton of rice down it it will gum it up but can be revived. Also, check the vent line to make sure that it's clear and the pipes have air behind it to move things along.
