While these stains can often be removed, sometimes depending on how long the stains have been on the fabric without being adequately washed out, they cannot be entirely removed without damage to the fabric, due to the stains having set already.
What type of garment is it that has the stains, and what is the fabric content?

Hi, I use Easy Off Oven Spray. I spray it on my husbands shirts and t-shirts. It may take a couple of times but,it will remove the stains. Try it first on an old shirts to see how you like it. I’ve been using this trick for 50yrs. Old grandma’s remedy. Good Luck

Try soaking in Borax and Fells Napha soap. Use a soft brush and scrub the stain with the soap.
For armpit stains - mix one part dish washing liquid with two parts hydrogen peroxide, then let the mixture sit on the stain for an hour. For the worst kinds of stains, add baking soda and scrub.
Use hydrogen peroxide with caution when working with fabric, as it will remove the color permanently.
