The granite has been etched over the years. It needs to be professionally taken care of. This is not a DYI project.

I have a black one that was looking bad after 15 years of use. Someone on this site suggest using mineral oil on it. It brought it back to life. I do this every couple of months and it will do until until I redo kitchin counters this summer...I hope. It may work fro you.
