Got a memory foam topper? Don’t like sleeping on it? Makes a great muffler for the traffic out my window.
Double pane windows will help a lot. The pounding is the worst and in some people it can affect the heart.
A really good pair of earplugs.
Get a "white noise" machine. I got mine from Best Buy. You can also use a humidifier or dehumidifier, depending on the time of year. I have also heard of apps that play white noise. Hope one of these helps!
