I would try wrap in them in an old bed sheet and pulling them out - then anchor the bed sheet somehow. Like to a stake in the ground, on the side opposite the wall.
A cheap roll of plastic to cover them.
Tie the plastic down with tent stakes available at any store that sells camping equip.
We use tied back painters drop cloth.
