Best Way to Remove Wallpaper
Here is an article that might help - https://www.rd.com/home/improvement/how-to-remove-wallpaper/
No matter what anybody says there is no easy way to remove wallpaper unless it just pulls off the wall.
I just spent a lot of time and a lot of money with every device and method known to man and nothing worked.
I had some places where the paper just pulled off and other places the paper seemed to have been superglued on the wall. Naturally those were the highest and hardest places to deal with.
If possible, just paint over it or use 1/4" drywall and cover it up.
Otherwise, good luck.
just keep spraying it with water, lots and lots, maybe for a day to 3 days and it’s should be soaked and slide right off.
for me its warm water and fabric softener in a spray bottle, I used it on a house that had 7 layers of wall papper.
Don't soak it for that long! You run a risk of mold. This is the right track, though. Purchase a scoring tool. It is the size of your palm, round, with rows of tiny teeth. Run it across the paper all over your wall. Then use spraybottle to spray with water. Let it sit for several minutes, spray some more, and use wide paint scrapers to scrape it off. The previous post is correct, there IS NO EASY way. Takes work. Painting over paper may sometimes go well, but often will bubble later.
By the way, this answer comes from someone who has removed and repapered or removed for painting in two homes of my own plus helping family in two other homes. Tried it all!
