I like storing small things in photo boxes. They hold a lot and stack well. You can even label them.
Ann's suggestion is fantastic, I do that myself. How about shoe boxes? If you have some around you can decorate to match the room decor? Another option is the see through shoe boxes with lids from the dollar store. When I was a little girl, my mom decorated an old luggage rack and one of her old suitcases and it sat in the corner of my room, it was actually quite cute.
Under bed plastic storage tote. make sure the clothes are clean and thoroughly dried before storing in a closed container.
