Pink Bathroom in Rented Apartment. What to Do?
This is my pink bathroom. The apartment is a rental, so I can't retile. What can I do to hide it or change its color?
Hi Christine,
Below is a video showing exactly how to do it and it looks like you followed the steps. There are 3 things I can think of. Did you clean of the part where the old shower was attached? Did you use enough of the tape and did you wrap it in the right direction? Also, did you use a wrench to tighten the new shower head? Sometimes it's small details that can throw us off. Watch the video to see. Wishing you the best.

There is a difference between plumbers tape and Teflon tape... and you need to only use just enough tape to encircle the pipe about 1 1/2 - 2 times.. and wrap it in the direction that the shower head will turn when you thread it ON... this keeps the Teflon tape from unwrapping as you turn the shower head...... too much tape and it fills the threads and the shower head will not make a seal with the pipe.
