Some o the silver products help prevent tarnish. The tarnish can be prevented by putting them in bags that they sell for that purpose but they usually are expensive. I believe that tarnish is caused by oxidation, and can be slowed down by keeping them in a way that they are kept from being out in the air. I don't know of anything to put on them to prevent tarnish so you can have them out all the time, but there may be something out there that you can spray on as a top coat.
