Paint a ceramic tile floor?

    Hi Kim,

    Go to an "old fashion" paint store where they have employees who know their products. Painting tile can be done, but it is still a temporary solution. Even if it lasts 10 years, after that time you'll need to have it ripped out and replaced. Painting tile is a lot of work - especially the prep work. You basically clean it 4 times before you can even begin the rest of your prep. In this article, a woman takes us through the entire process and then posts again a year later to show how it's holding up. It's a good story to read (and learn from) so you know what to expect.     Yes you can - be aware that when it wears, especially in a high traffic area, it will be a mess removing it. It may take a few years, if done properly, but inthe end it will still wear and be removed.
