Yes and no. If you have a metal drill bit set, you probably have a bit or two that could cut through tin and some other thin metals. If you have a real carpenter’s drill and bit set, that will undoubtedly have drill bits for metal, some of them as round as a nickel or quarter. If you have a battery charged very small drill with hard plastic bits, not a chance! I have many good drill bit sets, but my heavy duty drill keeps getting “borrowed”, so I’m lucky if I find it once a year. Amazing how that happens. Ha ha. Have a great day experimenting. ☺️
Yes, yes there is.
High speed drill bit for metal. Thick metal use WD40 to lubricate and cool the bit. Don't force it, just a little pressure. Let the drill do the work.

What are you wanting to drill through, and how thick is it?
Yes you need special drill bits for metal. HSS drill bits will work for softer metals and cobalt drill bits will be better for harder metals like stainless steel.
A metal cutting lubricant or cutting paste should be used a sit will reduce friction, prevent excessive heat build up and prolong the life of your drill bit.
This is a good article on drilling metal.
You can purchase drill bits for metal at your local hardware store. You can purchase individual bits so be sure as to what size you require before shopping.
