You can find some leather cleaner at a shoe shop or shoe repair shop and that will do the job and give the leather a finish so it should scratch so easily again.
You may have to dye the scratch with an analine dye to disguise it, and I agree you should keep the leather conditioned so it doesn't scratch as easily.
Every time I clean my mirrors, they end up having tons of streaks and almost look worse than before I started. What could I use to clean them that won't leave streaks...
