I want to paint my white folding doors (2) that are in my bedroom but entrance to our bathroom!!! Ideas welcomed!!! ;)
Our bedroom has dark brown wood furniture, walls are pale-ish grey & curtains darker grey .... our 4 poster bed comforter set is grey, gold, off white silky material....

    You could make a chalk paint mixture with the color of your choice. Then seal with a polyacrilic it works great. If you need a home mix for chalk paint put the question on this site and they will give you the best answers. Hope this helps.

    Choose some colors, buy samples (these days you can even choose finish) and paint TWO COATS on posterboard. Tape to doors and watch colors CHANGE with time of day and lighting. Important to see "true" color as reflections, shadows etc will affect it. This technique has saved me many headaches over the years. Can also have them match color to a favorite item. Use leftovers for art projects, possibly elsewhere in the room

    Using white on trim and doors can open a area or room up. I redid my old house painting all trim and molding white. It gave it a very elegant look. Just make sure that just painting the doors will not clash with the molding color.

    What color is the rest of your door trim, doors and baseboards for continuity.
