Want a lemon tree in the house. Is there a particular brand to order?

Previous attempts died or wouldn't produce fruit. Several restaurants in my area have miniature fruit trees. I must be doing something wrong.

why not just ask them what kind they have?
I have planted lemon seeds from lemons I got at a food store. they grow real nice..
