What is the tapestry made of ??? Is it wool or cotton ???
Steep it in Conditioner and water and it should stretch back out again, Dry flat. and over Frame................
Try to steam it
Hair conditioner? That may work. Thanks
Fill a sink with warm, not hot water and add some fabric softener or even hair conditioner. If the fabric is too stiff, you may have to soak it a couple of times. Once the fabic has softened, you need to wring the tapestry out & start gently stretching it, going from to side to side & gently pulling it back into it's original shape. Then lay it out on a towel to dry. Lay something heavy on each of the corners, to help it keep it's shape, while it drys. Check it periodically, in case you need to do a little more stretching. Good Luck !!!
Thank you. Lesson learnt for next time.
lay a towel over it and lightly steam with the iron as you pull it so it fits the backing.
