Go to wal-mart and buy sheet stays. They really work good.
I use large safety pins but you can buy elastic bands with a clip on either end for the corners. Walmart has them.
I was having the same problem. Was so sick of it that I pinned the sheet to my mattress using safety pins. After bed is done you can not see them. Problem solved for me
You can buy clips on elastic cords that will help keep your fitted sheet on. The clips look very similar to the old mitten clips of years ago.
Mattresses seem to be thicker now than they use to be, perhaps you need to buy "deep" sheets. They go under the mattress further.
Buy the elastic bands and clip that are available for this very problem. They are available online or at Bed Bath & Beyond or Target or Walmart. It certainly relieves a lot of frustration and takes little time to do when you change your sheets.
You can purchase a wide elastic which has clips on the ends for just this purpose or you can make your own with a wide elastic and sew on clips.
Target carries a brand called Threshold. They are a game changer. No straps needed.
