I used a strong solution of Tide and hot water. I was amazed how well it worked. Heavier grime probably requires oven cleaner.
I used fabric softener sheets and that worked but was so messy. And I went through lots of drier sheets
Simple, natural and inexpensive: Remove racks, sprinkle baking soda (heavier on baked-on problem areas) and pour plain white vinegar on top of baking soda. Leave overnight. Wipe away in the morning being sure to remove all baking soda. Good luck!
