Probably doesn't meet US plumbing codes.
I don't know a thing about plumbing, I can barely screw my hose into the outdoor faucet every spring. I would take your DIY faucet along with the measurements for the pipe you need the fitting for and head to the closest plumbing parts/supply store. If they can't help you, I don't think anybody can.
Go to a plumbing store in your area (they should be able to order parts that will work) or home salvage place. I often find things like what you want on eBay. Should you can find the right part in a non matching metal it can be plated to the copper you are looking for.
Go to your local home improvement store, they should know exactly what you will need.
Only suggestion I have is use a copper to copper union. Half of the union soldered to the pipe in the wall threads sticking out and the other half with the nut soldered on the faucet so to screw the into the wall. Homecenters should have them or check a local plumbing supply house.
