Try a wet Mr Clean eraser, that is what I do for mine and it works beautifully.
Yes, I agree wiht Karla., I used a Mr. Clean eraser to removed old, dried on paint from my front door latch set after every other single thing I tried failed to remove it including my fingernail. this took it right of no struggling at all and since then I have been a die-hard fan of this product. I LOVE these, use them to keep my glass top range clean also. wet, squeeze out the water and go. Good luck
Try doing a full rinse with a cup of vinegar and hot water. You may be using too much soap if you are having a problem. The more soap you use the greyer the laundry becomes and the more rinse water it takes to remove the suds when you are doing the laundry. Less is best.
I would agree with above and suggest the magic eraser. I use the ones from the dollar store.
