Use ice cubes to harden then scrape off
Hello. I use a old towel and hot iron to remove spilled wax. You place the towel over the wax and then run the iron on the towel. The towel absorbs the melted wax. It can be tricky if the molding isn't flat. I would have someone help hold the towel in place while you run the iron over it. Good Luck!
is the molding made of wood?
generally, you can use ice to make the wax brittle and chip it off. Otherwise you can try melting it with a heat gun and wiping it.
I would use a credit card first before a razor to see if I can get it off that way. You can also try using a blow dryer to warm up the wax and remove it then the credit card. Goe-b gone will help remove any of the residue left behind.
Use a blow dryer to melt the wax, then wipe off with a towel.
Brown paper, hot iron and a damp cloth, put brown paper over wax and iron then quickly wipe surface, test in a hidden place first to make sure it doesn't discolor the paint, or just scrape off not sure of any other way
