I remove mine and soak in the tub with warm mild soapy water, then clean with a soft cloth. If they are super dirty, just soak longer! good luck
Hi Diana! I do the same in my tub or if it's a nice day laying them outside and using the hose works great. Here is another solution by Merry Maids.

If you can take them down for cleaning, do so! A soak in the tub will work wonders. If not, take two damp microfiber cloths, wrap each around one end of a set of tongs. Then use to clean each slat.
I take mine down hang them over the fence outside and spray them with scrubbing bubbles then hose them off let them hang till dry and put them back up
I agree with all the others as far as cleaning them in the tub, but I use as hot of water as I can and swish them around and then spray them off with my sprayer or rinse, to me if I can find a way to do it with less work I take it :).
They have little tools that fit between the slats, but we always took ours down and hosed them off in the shower
I put mine in the tub with OxyClean...no scrubbing!!!
