I don’t live in your climat/garden zone so don’t know if wil grow but a Chaste Tree would be lovely not to big maybe 10 feet tops covered in purple flowers in spring.
You could outline the area with a rock border or something, then plant some some shrubbery
fill with soil and create a tiered garden or flower bed. Depending on shading, Hostas. would be filler. or peonies.
I stuck a large concrete bird bath on mine that was leveled off with a chain saw and now I watch birdies bath much to my amusement.

I like the idea of a “mounded” planting area. You can choose the plants that work in your zone and create a bit of privacy at the same time. Rocks, wood, birdbath, fountain, feeders-your choice! Have fun 👩🌾!
Cathy go to the Missouri Botanical for additional ideas. consider this as an opportunity to create a front yard patio. or to start a permaculture landscape. in other words, multipurpose plantings that can look beautiful as well as edible.
