If you want to stay in the lilac range, go to where you plan to buy the paint and bring home some color chip cards. Tape them to your walls and let them stay there a bit through daytime and nighttime color changes. One at a time take off the ones you don't like. In the end you should have 1 or 2 that you really like. Pick one of those to paint your walls. You could also include white or gray to see if you like that look. Wishing you the best.

I would do a light dove gray with white trim.

Diane have you considered a pale grey or a lilac white? If you have any leftover paint from your previous decorations, you could add a little to a can of white paint and mix well to create your own look. As long as you ensure both paints are the same type. Good luck in choosing.
