try 1/4 cup of salt & 1/4 cup of baking soda, and slowly add 1/4 cup of white vinegar. Mix and spray on the floor. Let it sit for 30 minutes, then mop it up.

I had the same problem with my washing machine it got rust spot on the side I spray white vinegar let it set for a hour then I got a medal scouring pad with vinegar scrub it until smooth or the rust is faded then I went to Home Depot and got some paint for washing machine use,I hope this helps for you
