Can a ceramic tile floor be painted, and what to use if it can?

hate our ceramic tile sun room floor, but cannot take it up. Can it be painted? If so, what to use so it will hold up to moderate traffic.

Good question Janet. Some sun rooms get as hot as saunas, which causes damage to painted surfaces.
