I cannot change the carpet at the moment, so i'm looking for wall color ideas and ways to not draw attention to the carpet.
If you are willing to go bold, these sound like the colors in my bedroom, and our bedroom is painted a deep reddish brown color. If you went with the red in your bedding, it would be a really pretty, bold statement.
A lot of the colors you mentioned have gray, how about a lite grey, or the white you have in your bedding. You already have cream furniture, so you don't want the walls to match all the furniture and have it disappear in the same color. Grey is a color that really goes with any color if you stick to a plain gray that doesn't have any other hue in it.

I am loving the light green with blues. Would look great with the grey and cream rug and you can use yellow and green as accents.
I real pale teal.
I would go with a medium grey to highlight your headboard. Since the colors you mentioned are both warm and cool and you already mix cool and warm with your headboard I assume that you like the contrast. Of course I'm assuming that your headboard is light if it's dark go light grey on paneling.
Paint over brown paneling in white. A light teal would look good. Red gray and gold? You may want to change out with darker teal, white and brown to pick up wood. Kept it light, fresh and current.
Light green or gray even blue. Try going to paint store grab color strips with colors in room and put up to floor baseboards furniture and try to stay in same “family” Bedrooms should have relaxing calming colors. Nothing bright and bold.
