It seems to be too damaged to save, Click on the link below to read how to fill it. This company does that kind of work, but they give info for those who want to DIY. Wishing you the best.

I suspect that your pool is an above-ground pool that was buried. Have not heard of steel walled pools made to use underground. Sounds like time to have a contractor in to remove and fill.
take the pool down it sounds like it is a accident waiting to happen
we bought a house with a collaped inground pool. Hired someone on craigslist to deliver and drop fill dirt right in the pool and they used a Skid steer to smooth it all out....laid sod and done
If the sides are steel.... it sounds like someone took an above ground pool and set it in a hole....or pushed the dirt up around it... do you want to keep a pool? in that area?... if you do.... at least the hole is started....
HomeAdvisor.com or Angieslist.com can put you in contact with the right people to help you.... either to fill it in... or to correctly construct a pool
Hi Kathi. I would look for free clean fill and fill it in. Sometimes you can find people on Craigs list that are looking for a place to get rid of it. Good Luck!
sunken garden
First you have to get rid of the groundhog (or get a poolside chair ; ) and have it repaired. I would recommend Angie's List for both of these tasks , as it is free to use and provides local listings.
