The saw would work but you'll need a special diamond blade to cut such a hard material. The cement pavers are much more hard than wood if that's the blade you have in your saw now. Hope this helps you. Go to your home improvement store and they will have the saw blade you need.
Yes you can if you have the right blade.

If you have a lot to do, it is worth it to rent a wet saw for a day from any tool rental.
Yes you can but you will need a diamond masonry blade as Janice suggests. Wear eye protection and a dust mask. Lots of dust.
HI Alan,
I'm not a carpenter, but I looked it up and discovered that a skill saw is a brand and there are many types. According to several articles that I read, you need a circular saw with a diamond or concrete cutting blade.. If that's what you have, click on the link below to learn the method. Wishing you the best.

My husband used a circular saw with a masonry blade. Depends on how thick the pavers are you may have to turn it over to finish the cut. You might be able to rent a bigger one, like a K2 saw from an equipment rental place if you have a whole lot to cut.
