I wouldn't do it. If you are going to mix paint I would mix paint that has the same finish.
It's my understanding that you can mix high gloss with semi, semi with satin and eggshell with flat.
You can, and depending on how much of each you mix, the resulting 'finish' would probably be an 'egg shell' finish.

The finish type isn't critical unless you are doing touch up on an existing surface. Mixing can be done with any paints as long as they are the same base. (i. e. Latex with latex) It will be difficult to reproduce this paint color and finish, so make sure to mix enough for your entire project plus a little extra for touch up.
