I would like to start a flower container garden. I live in the desert Southwest. What plants can I grow that are drought tolerant.

my brother and his wife live in El Paso. just about any plant fried. if you have shade cloth available try gardening under that, and use drip irrigation in any of its forms....leaky milk jug if you find one with a screw top, you can regulate how much it drips by loosening or tightening the cap, 2 liter bottle with spike, house plant minder kit...

if they are in a container, does it have to be drought tolerant? you will have to water no matter what.

el paso may still have watering restrictions in place.at onetime you got to water your yard on 1 day a week alternating schedules. Been a while since I’ve heard from my bro or cousins who live there.
