My suggestion would be use curtain rods and clear (or not) shower curtains? That's what I've been thinking of doing on our lanai.
It seems anything you hang would get soaked as well. Is the rain blowing in? Perhaps you need gutter and downspouts installed.
I've used clear roll plastic with skinny 4 foot bamboo rods attached to the bottom with duct tape.
Another way I've done it is to use mylar sheets with the bamboo, which also reflects the sun away from the porch in the heat of the day while still letting a little light through. It comes in several thicknesses on rolls, but can also be found in the form of emergency blankets, which are large and cost a buck or less each.
You could change the type of screen to deflect the rain.........OR glass it in with sliding glass doors like I did..........making it an all weather sun room!
Consider adding a rain gutter so the roof runoff doesn't just blow inside. A knee wall would help with splashing water that gets in. Also you could add more of those plastic roll up shades they probably help deflect the rain. The design of your patio is such that without changes to the "walls" you will always get rain inside. Your best bet is to try and minimize the amount of rain that gets in.
You can buy water proof fabric or regular fabric and seal with an outdoor scotch guard puts a silicone coating, use those plastic dowel supports, cut dowels to length needed either grommet, sew our use curtain clips that hang from the dowels and if needed you can sew a hem or glue one at bottom and use curtain weights or heavy washers to keep fabric from blowing too much in the wind. You could also us the ckear vinyl you buy at fabric stores if you want to see out but this way you open them while it’s sunny and easily shut them when it’s raining., curtain clips make things slide very easily
