Roofer. The flange? Against the stonework could be bad. Go to Angie’s List, HomeAdvisor.com or thumbtack.com for reputable people. Too many ripoffs out there.
I agree, a roofer or a skilled carpenter that can handle multiple trades. I would ask neighbors and friends for recommendations. I don't trust Angie's list or any of those others that profit from the advertising
YEP! Roofer! The roof flashing against the brick probably has failed.
Definitely a flashing issue, should be an easy fix but a lot of roofers (use that term loosley) Don't flash properly.
Start with Home Advisor.com, look for a carpenter, or someone who installs windows. When you decide who you want, make sure you get a contract (written) as to a warranty/guarantee of the work, the price and how long will it take.
Really, use those sites. They vet all their pros. Angie’s List is now free, and has been around for many years. Click that you only want the best reviewed roofers. You get to read reviews from clients. The other two sites are responsible if someone messes you up.
Get at least three quotes. Ask them Exactly what they’re going to do (Even tape it on your phone and write it down later). When you sign the contract, make sure they will clean up their mess and have them write down when the work will be completed. A down-payment only. And make sure the warranty on their work is written down.
These are also question you should ask when getting their quotes.
It’s a beautiful house.
