Put the tips of your fingers under the knob and slowly apply pressure while pulling up. The knob will come off. Clean, then gently replace the knob.
Pull the knobs off and soak in white vinegar. If they don’t come off, spray and wipe clean.

My knobs pull off. I soak the knobs while I scrub the stove
Please see other post.
Some knobs lift off for cleaning.
pull the knobs straight off
I have always been able to pull them off. Have you giving this a try? If you haven’t ever done this they might be a little tough to pull off the first time, being stuck with the grease and grime. Good luck and hope this is the easy fix for ya. Ellen
Pull straight toward yourself and knobs should pop off. Place them in a sudsy sink and give them a good wash while you carefully clean the backsplash area on the stove face.
When the burners are turned off the knobs should pull straight off. Clean that area as you do the rest of the stove.
In addition to the previous comment: If it is really bad, spray oven cleaner on the stove top. Let it sit overnight. Just wipe it off in the morning. Works for me.
