Blue white grey
Anything goes with gray --- one of the nice things about this color. (But, just some side advice, keep it neutral -- for a calm, fresh feeling.)
I would add a splash of color that you could easily change when mood strikes--
Tangerine - Turquoise - Spring Green - Strong Pinks - Mauve etc.......

I agree with Johnavallance82 turquoise (lighter shade of turquoise) and gray would be pretty and inviting with just the right accents for kitchen decor. I believe it won't cause shrinkage to the look if the room. Good Luck!
reds, blues, corals, even good ol white
Since gray is a rich neutral, you should paint the walls a bright color that pops against the gray. I would select a color that is in your curtains/.accessories as a guide,
light yellow or light green good luck wayne
Gray is a neutral. Pink all shades, mauve, burgundy, red, yellow all go with gray. Some blues will go. TAN / brown does NOT go.
