What can i do with the Rings off of drink cans?

I have for some unknown reason been collecting the rings off of drink cans, probably because i saw somebody doing something good with them but cannot remember where i saw it.
Hopefully all you crafty people out there will have some amazing ideas other than throw them away. Ha ha.

Here the nurses at the hospital collect them and use them to buy medical equipment.
I worked with a woman yrs. ago who saved them for Scouts (or some organization) and turned them in to Scouts and Scouts donated to a charity.
You can weave them into bracelets using fishing line. My kids used to make them all the time. You can find instructional videos on YouTube

How about making a scarf holder out of them. Or make some sort of organizer for something.

Well I have a huge box of them and will be making Christmas snowflakes with them. The Snowflakes are large, and requires only staples and white spray paint and glitter. I love mine and put them on a dowel to store them for next Christmas. I will be posting a blog about it around october for people to get started on them. I have also heard people staple them together to make some sort of flower, but I have never found a video of it yet. You might be able to find the Christmas Snowflakes on you tube.....Hope that gives you some ideas...Maggie
