Solution for resin fountain hard water deposits

My outdoor resin fountain has hard water white lines that I have tried everything I have for cleaning. It looks nice when wet, but comes back when dry. I even bought an expensive bottle from the company I purchased the fountain from. Didn't work! Any suggestions?
