Have you tried straight white distilled vinegar (no water)? I can’t be positive but it looks like some heavy hard water deposits and maybe some mold or rust is in there. If no luck with plain vinegar, I would use CLR and that should do the trick. CLR is biodegradeable.
😊
Try baking soda and lemon juice or vinegar with it.
Did you fill the water tank with 1/3 white vinegar and 2/3 distilled water. Run thesteamer until half the mixture has steamed. Unplug and allow it to rest for 30 minutes. Rinse and repeat... as many times as necessary until steam returns to normal (could be 2-3 times).
If that doesn't help, maybe this video will...
put i box of baking soda in the steamer. Add 1 cup of white vinegar. let it remain in steamer for 30 minutes. rinse.
I poured straight distilled vinegar in mine, turned to the highest setting and let the vinegar boil! I did this 3 times, used a brush in between (after it cooled ) and it looks brand new!!! VERY EASY. To avoid this problem again, use distilled water in it only, it will last much much longer. GOOD LICK
If the above suggestions don't work - try Dip-It coffee pot cleaner. It works good on hard water deposits.
Hi Gina. I used steamers expensively as a clothing retailer. My remedy was CLR, plus I only used distilled water to keep the units running better without the build up problems. Hope this helps :)
CLR will do a work for sure
