take your paint chip with you to see what will look best. Not everyone has the same taste
Look at some paint swatches in paint departments, look with the powder blue one in your hand at what strikes you as a good accent color. Take a few choices home and set them in places like on your sink, towel bar, etc. Look for the one that catches your eye as the best.
Neutral, beige or taupe
Grays, beige, taupe, or white would look nice. Im sure it will turn out beautiful. :)
It depends on the look you want. For a spa look, go with wood accents and white towels, rugs, etc. For a happy, vibrant look use peachy or yellow accents along with some greenery. If your tub/shower needs a shower curtain, find one you love and then pull your accent colors out of that.
blue and brown
Boy you are going to get a lot of suggestions, so let me ask you stuff. Why blue,is it because you like cool tones? If so grey would be very calm and pretty plus modern. If you love blue but like warm tones because you live in cold climate, yes stick to warm neutrals as stated above. If your style is bold pick another shade of blue that is deep and rich. If you like preppy stuff then a bright green or yellow. Please blend some white be it finger towels or in strips on towels if you go preppy. So point is what do you like in your life what's your style in clothing in general that's a great place to start. The hardest part you did which is wall color which I applaud. The accessories will be fun to do,maybe look for your soap dispenser stuff and see if that helps. What color metal are your fixtures, cause that says a lot. You don't want blue grey and then shiny gold. Sorry for those that have that but that isn't retro that's just wrong. Then if gold go warm tones if silver cool tones if that deep brass almost black but still brown go either way.
White baseboards. White towels. Fresh and modern
