We live in Phoenix too... and most home improvement stores carry solar fountain pumps in the garden department.... and online: Google search... solar fountain pump... and follow the links.... choose one with a battery run time of at least 8 hours... also pay attention to the "lift" distance.... this is the height above the pump (vertically) that the pump will "lift"' the water... important in a fountain or waterfall.
I bought a solar for our fountain from Lowe’s and it works great!

We found one online that will lift 3-4 feet.... that is more than enough for our fountain
