Need some advice (see pics)

Hello my fellow diy-ers. I have a lovely rock garden that I decided to pull all the low ground plants /succulents out of, all except the rose bush. My husband made a trip to home depot the other day, and I gave him a list of flowers and plants to get for me to plant there and he came home with nothing in my list. But he did get some beautiful flowers, I'm just at a loss as to where to put them in this garden. They're taller than I wanted, I think that's why I'm having trouble.
Should I remove the rocks and place some flowers there? Keep the rocks, or keep some? Where do you think I should place the flowers? I've been staring at this project for almost a week and can't start because I don't know where to put these. Any help would be greatly appreciated, I have 3 different type of flowers, 2 of each. Two of them are rhododendron which eventually be be to large for that space.Taking them out of the picture, plant the tallest to the shortest.
I would put the lilies around the edge where the small tree is, the others, I'm not sure what they are but i would keep them in the middle, they look like they will grow tall and possibly get some smaller flowers and put around the taller ones. Once the lilies take off, they will multiply and you can put those all around the edge. A bird bath would also look nice in the spot as well.
The flowers are, roseum elegans rhododendron, Stella de Oro daylily and Minnie pearl phlox. I do have a little bird bath I usually put under the tree. Thank you for your help, I really need it
I would put the tallest nearest the tree, then the midsized ones near the center and finally the tallest in the center. Or, (and this would be my choice if I were doing this project), I would have hubby go with you to check out WalMart's garden center (if there is one near you), then make a run to Home Depot and/or Lowe's, (again if you have one). I'd venture to guess you'll find all the plants you originally wanted, a few that are new to you, and some that were forgotten. Gads I love window shopping! That's what I call it when I need to make several store runs to see what they have that I might want. Good luck and happy shopping!! OH, I almost forgot, as for the rocks, I have mine arranged in such a way that when I water everyone the excess goes to the next flower behind it and finally it heads to the back area where I have a little runoff section. I love the rocks you show there, I'd keep the ones up to the curved walk section then perhaps arrange the plants to go between any others you wanted to keep and use the others in another space you have! I hope you’ll be using a small bench , or a couple of whimsical chairs under the tree to sit with a book and smile at your flowers. They like that.
