Yes, but defends if the tub is still thick, some tubs have been resurfaced several times as the material gets so thin and will just cause a hole later on.
You can have the tub professionally reglazed. I have had quite a few tubs done over the years with excellent results.
Yes, but proper prep is the key. The old finish would need to be completely removed.
Use Rustoleum tub and tile paint kit.
So you can still resurface it, it will save you money by doing that, once it’s done you will not see any traces or marks of the old tub, it will look really brand new.
