Transparent polycarbonate panels are more durable and wind-resistant than plastic sheeting, no matter how thick. Plastic also succumbs to UV rays. However, you could attach plastic to the inside of the gazebo frame to increase the R-factor and minimize drafts. During the winter the floor will be cooler than the upper half even if you have a heater, which is a good idea anyway. In the spring having a window opposite and higher than the door will keep your greenhouse from getting too warm. There are temperature reactive window openers that run between $25 and $35.
