kill the grass with white vinegar and water a dab of dish soap and a dab of salt, wash the pavers with a mild soap and water and scrub brush
spray grass and weeds with straight white vinegar to kill it. It will take a few applications. Spray whenever you see green shoots between your pavers.
If you add salt to the vinegar, this will make a potent weed killer but will also make the soil unfit for growing. Be careful and use this mixture only where you want to remove weeds.

Pour boiling water over the grass. It will kill the roots and no harm done to the soil.
