How do I get plastic finish brass colored bath fixtures to look new?
We just moved into an apartment and the bathroom fixtures are like a plastic finish brass color and the finish is flaking off. Is there a fix for this?

You might try sanding with fine grit sandpaper as smooth as you can get it. Then use Rustoleum 2X paint. The metallics are nice but might show where the flakes were. A flat black could look sharp and not show flaws as much.
