try diluted vinegar, soft cloth and rub, gently. may have to do more then once!
There are products out made to clean stainless steel.they are usually a wax based formula, baking soda on a damp rag works for me.
I have always used Windex but after I use a spray wax. The wax leaves a beautiful shine and no streaks.

There are microfiber cloths that are supposed to be great on their own with just water: Enjo, Quickie, Weiman, Norwex, among others. I haven't been happy with anything in particular, so I may go that route.

For furniture. It would be by the products like Endust or Pledge, anything to clean dust off your furniture. Sorry I didn't explain better
