there are wallpape remover sprays u can buy
A professional is best if you can afford it(I could not) but most stores like Lowes have a spray for this. You follow the directions but be sure not to score to deep. It is not all easy. Tried some of those homemade solutions and had to repair my wall. Good luck. Chris

Dear Maggie, Start with a paint tray. Fill the one side with warm water. Buy 2 paint rollers, regular size, and drop cloths. Take a screw handle from a broom, and attach it to the paint roller. Dip the roller in the warm water, and roll it to the dry side. Start at the bottom and roll up and down, don't go too high. Each time you roll, you'll need to scrape the wall paper off the wall. You'll need a large putty knife to do this. Clean it off the best you can. After your done with all the wall paper, you'll have to clean the glue off with a large sponge to make the surface smooth.
Thanks, but have remover wallpaper before so will probably cover with fabric.
