Best way to chalk paint wrought iron wall hangings?
I have several iron wall hangings I would like to chalk paint. What is the best way to layer different colors on the wrought iron?
I am going to assume the paneling has grooves. I spackled in the grooves on mine, sanded, primed, then painted. It took quite a bit of sanding. That was a few years ago. If I were to do it now, I would just prime and paint. I like the textural interest of the grooves.
Thank you. The adjoining wall is small but the others I may just prime and paint.
Thank you. The drywalled wall is attached so think I will spackle that one and maybe adjoining other wall leave as focal point with different colour.
