I’m refinishing a claw foot tub. Can anyone tell me how old it is?

This is my pink bathroom. The apartment is a rental, so I can't retile. What can I do to hide it or change its color?
I would say, by the stamp 4/18/51. You can also go to the American Standard web site and see if they have tub dates listed.
Maybe 1851. Note America Standard was also a radiator manufacturer at the time. ????? I don't think 1951 is correct.
You may be able to find the history of AS and their old product lines on the internet somewhere. I am curious now!
Thank you! I’ll keep searching. I don’t think 1951 is correct either. The farm house was from the early 1800s.
4/18/1851
Claw foot tubs didn't come out till the 1870's. That's around the time indoor plumbing was introduced. It is 4/18/1951. The 5 and 12 means it's 5 1/2 foot long. Date codes were not shortened like that prior to 1900.
Amazingly, probably 1951 - if that is a date on the bottom. From Wikipedia: "In 1929 the Standard Sanitary Manufacturing Company consolidated with the American Radiator Company to form the American Radiator and Standard Sanitary Corporation." At any rate, no earlier than 1929.
I don't think it would have the specific day of the month I would guess it's April, 1851
