Spray-foam rug cleaners are “dryer”, but I would suggest you do several go-overs rather than one heavy spray to avoid soaking thru to the floor.
If you can fold it in half, lay a tarp under the section of rug. Otherwise, I would do a test-corner first to be sure the moisture in the foam doesn’t bleed through.
